Probleme nach Server Update

Hallo zusammen,...

vieleicht kann mir jemand bei meinem Problem helfen.
Nach einem Server-Update bekomme ich im Viewer folgenden Fehlermeldung

Login faild
The avater inventory service is not responding.
Please notify your login region operator.

Zu meinem System:
Server Version 6.3 (wollte nun auf die aktuelle Version updaten)
Datenbank MySQL (hatte ich vorher mit dump gesichert und wieder eingespielt)
Des weiteren habe ich auch die Regionen gesichert und wieder eingespielt

Nach dem Update fährt der Server hoch, nehme aber an das er durch die Migration die Datenbank wieder plattbügelt. Ansosnten kommen noch einige Fehlermeldungen das Skripte nicht gestarttet werden können. Ansonsten habe ich keine weiteren Fehler feststellen können.

das höre ich so zum ersten mal. Hast du die opensim.ini aus de alten version rauskopiert? oder die neue verändert? Notfalls würd ich mal versuchen noch mal mit dem alten Server zu starten, wenn das geht liegts auf jedenfall an den neuen Einstellungen, wenn das auch nich mehr geht, iss die Datenbank wohl putt.

läuft das im Gridmode? Oder im Standalone?
 
Ich habe die neue opensim.ini editiert und meine Daten soweit eingetragen. Was ich nur vermisse ist der Asset der anscheinend in der neuen *ini wohl nicht mehr von der MySQL abgefragt wird.
Wie dem auch sei, habe ich ein restore der Datenbank gemacht mit dem selben Resultat. Beim Hochfahren des Servers sehe ich in der Konsole, dass eine Migration durchgeführt wird, was ja normalerweise nicht sein dürfte.
Habe danach die alte Server-Version aktiviert, die Daten eingespielt und es läuft absolut problemlos. Kann mir die Sache nur so erklären, dass irgendwo ein Eintrag in der *ini fehlt oder die neue Server-Version meine Datenbank nicht zu hundert Prozent erkennt und deswegen eine Migration der Tabellen startet. Kann aber auch sein das dass Problem ganz woanders liegt..........
 
ich habs im Gridmodus und da war die umstellung kein Problem, ich hab aber die opensim.ini vom alten server kopiert, hat reibungsloser geklappt als ich erwaret hatte.

Ich hab sogar die default.xml aus dem region-ordner kopiert *g* Soweit lief alles.

kopier doch mal die Opensim.ini und starte den neuen Server. Aber ohne irgendwas zu integrieren. Bei mir wurde das auch alles automatisch erkannt.

die Default.xml und die anderen regionen habe ich auch übernommen. Das mit der alten opensim.ini habe ich auch entgegen der Meinung verschiedener hier im Forum versucht. Der Server brach beim Hochfahren mit einer Windows Fehlermeldung ab. Am besten poste ich mal meine opensim.ini

das mit der alten opensim.ini wäre ja nur zum testen. Wenn die Anderen das was gegen haben, könnten die ja auch mal Lösungsvorschläge abgeben ;) Ich hab leider keinen Rat mehr.

Wenn du das noch hinbekommen solltest, schreibst auf jedenfall mal hier mit rein.

Werde halt weiterhin mein Glück versuchen und wenn es nicht klappt dann bleib ich bei der alten Version.

Supie ich habe es rausgefunden.....

Was in der alten Version nicht vorhanden war, war ein Ordner "config-include" mit einer
Datei "StandaloneCommon.ini" die noch an die MySQL-Datenbank angepasst werden musste. Das gilt anscheinend nur für den Standalone-Modus. Nach der Konfiguration der Datei, startet der Server einwandfrei und ich konnte mich ohne weiteres über den Viewer anmelden. *grummelt* Sowas muss man allerdings wissen, da ich mich vorher nur mit der opensim.ini beschäftigt hatte und das ja auch bei der alten Server-Version völlig ausreichte.

Also daran denken, bei einem Server-Update auch die Datei "StandaloneCommon.ini" im Ordner "config-include", mit konfigurieren. Gilt nur im Standalone-Modus....:)

Ist ja nicht meine erste Umfrage die ich starte und die Leute hier im Forum mit meinen Fragen löchere. Es ist es halt nicht leicht sich mit mit einem Thema zu beschäftigen was einerseits immens fasznierend ist von dem man aber andererseit nicht so die Ahnung hat. Aber man lernt dazu ;-)

Deswegen gilt mein Dank für alle hier im Forum und vieleicht konnte ich ja mit meinen Fragen
